- Handsome Boy Modeling School ist eine US-amerikanische Musikgruppe der Produzenten Prince Paul und Dan „The Automator“ Nakamura. Als Gastmusiker und Rapper arbeiteten sie für dieses Projekt u.a. mit Money Mark, Cibo Matto, Mike D. von den Beastie Boys, Grand Puba, Sadat X, DJ Shadow, Sean Lennon, Josh Haden von Spain, Alec Empire, Del The Funky Homosapien, Barrington Levy, De La Soul, Casual, Jack Johnson, Pharrell Williams, Lord Finesse, Mike Shinoda und Chester Bennington von Linkin Park, Mike Patton, RZA, GZA, Dres, Rahzel, Jazzy Jay und Cat Power zusammen. Die Gruppe löste sich 2006 wegen geschäftlicher Uneinigkeiten zwischen Paul und Nakamura auf.

How's Your Girl?, inspiré par un épisode de la série télévisée Get a Life de Chris Elliott intitulé "The prettiest day of my life" ("Le plus beau jour de ma vie"). Dans l'album, Dan the Automator incarnent respectivement les personnages de Nathaniel Merriweather et Chest Rockwell. Un grand nombre d'artistes, dont Encore, J-live, Sean Lennon, Cibo Matto, Miho Hatori, Moloko, Róisín Murphy et Del tha Funkee Homosapien, y participent. Le comique Father Guido Sarducci y fait également des apparitions. Leur deuxième album, White People, sorti en novembre 2004, met une fois de plus en scène des personnalités invitées. Certaines apparaissaient déjà dans le premier album, d'autres sont nouvelles, comme RZA, Chan Marshall, Jack Johnson, Jamie Cullum, Mike Patton, Pharrell Williams, Linkin Park, Cedric Bixler Zavala, Alex Kapranos, Barrington Levy, et le comédien Tim Meadows. En 2006, Prince Paul annonce son retrait de Handsome Boy Modeling School pour cause de conflit financier avec Dan the Automator. (en anglais).
